Search for Station Information  This link provides the ability to search and retrieve information from FCC Mass Media Bureau databases for AM, FM, TV, LPTV, and DTV broadcast stations.

FCC Database FTP Site - Delimited text files containing data on AM, FM, TV and DTV stations.  This is a relational database, made up of many different tables. These are somewhat difficult to work with unless you get along well with relational database software like Microsoft's Access.  

Industry Canada - Industrie Canada

Database extracts for the broadcasting service in Canada - dBase III databases for AM, FM ,TV and MDS-TV stations.  The Canadians have structured these very logically, making them easy to work with!

REAL-TIME 144 MHz TROPO PROPAGATION MAPS - These maps are produced by Jon Harder (NGE) using amateur radio's Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS).  This is an excellent resource for viewing current VHF DX conditions.  While primarily designed to display tropospheric propagation, it will also show sporadic E activity when the MUF is sufficiently high to reach the 2 meter amateur band.

Storm Prediction Center

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) is part of the National Weather Service (NWS) and the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP). They provide timely and accurate forecasts and watches for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes over the contiguous United States.
